New England Financial believes in an atmosphere that embraces continuous professional and personal commitment to the community. Our participation in the Lee's Summit Chamber exemplifies our dedication toward social awareness and responsibilities to our business citizenry. The Chamber encourages me to grow professionally by participating in many of the activities available, as well as, the everyday maturity of personal relationships. I have been actively involved in the Lee's Summit Chamber for five years, continuing to believe that the members involved and the office personnel exemplify the highest principles of successful business.

Infinity Realty was formed for the purpose of creating a viable option in real estate services. We have always taken the approach of making a positive change not only for our clients but also our community. An active chamber member since 2002 Infinity Realty has been involved with many chamber events and recently was awarded the 2007 Business of the Year Parvus Level. A graduate of Leadership Lee’s Summit I have great appreciation and dedication to what the chamber of commerce does not only for businesses but the development of individuals. I am actively involved in the LS Sunrise Rotary Club, Partners in Education, and serve on the Historic Preservation Commission as well as LS Downtown Main Street board and Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors. Incredible opportunities lie within the growth and development of our wonderful city and with that personal belief I know we can always strive to achieve a better tomorrow.

The Michael Blau Agency believes in giving back to the community. Therefore, it has been our pleasure in the past seven years to be actively involved and sponsor Chamber events, such as Businsess Before Hours. Additionally, we have enjoyed serving on many Chamber committees including: Education, Public Relations, and Memberships. For that reason, it is an honor to serve on the 2008 Board of Directors.

Dean's Trophies T Shirts and Awards has been a member of the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce since 2000. I have been active in many committees and feel it is very important for me personally and my business professionaly to give back to our community. Dean's Trophies T Shirts and Awards is a family owned business started by my father Dean Crawford in 1964. It is imperitive that all business's come together in a forum where they can grow and learn from each other and for me that is what the Lee's Summit Chamber is ALL about. I have been a Chamber member for approximately eleven years. Over the years I have been on different committees and task forces - Membership, Annual Dinner, Holiday Reception, Membership Blitz and Annual Golf Tournament, but the one that I have been involved with since day one is the Oktoberfest Committee. I also attend as many of the Business Before/After hours and Ribbon Cuttings as possible. It really puts me out there and gives me the opportunity to meet more people, which is good for my business. I also treasure the many friendships that I have made over the years.

The one thing I wanted to do for The Men's Wearhouse store in Lee's Summit was to be a part of the Chamber; we joined in 2003. The Chamber has really helped us grow not only on the retail side, but also the tuxedo rentals. The Men's Wearhouse believes in supporting area chambers and being a part of the community. I find when you give a little of yourself, you get a lot in return. So I decided to get involved with the Chamber. I have been a Chamber Ambassador for a few years; am on the Annual Auction Task Force, and joined the Board of Directors in 2006. The relationships I have built through my Chamber Involvement are priceless and The Men's Wearhouse has grown from it.

Although Summit Bank of Kansas City recently opened and is a relatively new member, I have been involved with the Chamber for many years. It didn't take much time to realize that active participation was necessary in order to receive the most membership benefit. My involvement has primarily been with Recess For Success and the Public Relations Committee, the latter having recently completed the branding study that redefined the way the chamber is perceived. One of the greatest rewards is to observe the favorable impact on businesses that join and become involved. Membership in the Lee’s Summit Chamber is undoubtedly the magic key for local companies wanting to go the next level.
