The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce and the University of Central Missouri Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies and Development recently entered into a cooperative partnership agreement, the purpose of which is to bring products and services provided by the Institute to the members of the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce. The marketing program will target business segments to create and promote customized product and services. Additionally, the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce and the UCM Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies and Development will have the opportunity to bundle services to create new training, education and technical assistance packages.
Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies & Developments
The Institute provides educational programs and services in technology and business skills for entrepreneur and small businesses. Experts located both on and off-campus provide consulting, training and research assistance as needs are identified. Programs Support Local and State Economy
These programs and services support the local constituents as well as have a positive impact on the Missouri economy. Services are provided through four divisions, which are identified as the Small Business Division, the Technology Division, the Laboratory Division, and the Entrepreneurial Division.
