Our major function is to direct programs and events that ensure that Lee’s Summit continues to be a place businesses will want to locate and families will want to live. We have over 900 member businesses in the Chamber. Many volunteers donate thousands of hours in this joint effort, along with a professional staff of 6.

The best way to communicate with Chamber business is to utilize the monthly Chamber Link.  A wealth of information is provided to keep you informed about economic trends, government issues and small business issues.  A calendar keeps you abreast of upcoming events.  About 900 business people are on the direct mailing list.

Your volunteer involvement assures you a role in leading the future of Lee’s Summit.  Our active divisions are Education/Public Affairs, Economic Development and Special Events.  These Divisions work in partnership with all segments of the community.

Your membership allows you to receive Local and State Government contact and representation.  The Chamber works closely with  Legislators, City Hall, local school districts, and Downtown Main Street Association.
