With sponsorship of Chamber events and programs comes the opportunity to position yourself front-and-center within the area’s business community. Whether you choose to sponsor a monthly networking event or the Chamber’s Annual Gala, we offer opportunities for businesses and budgets of every size.

It’s a great way to rise and help your business shine.

Typically held the fourth Tuesday of the month, from 7:30–8:30 a.m., a Chamber member hosts/sponsors a caffeinated meet-and-greet session at their business. Attendance at these easy-going networking events averages 30 members, so it’s a good idea to bring business cards. Who knows? You might have a brand-new customer before your workday has even begun.

Chamber will provide the following:
  • Promotion of the event through online calendar of events, weekly events newsletter, e-blast, Chamber app and the monthly newsletter
  • Sign-in form & name tags for attendees

Business will provide the following:

  • Representative to make comments on behalf of the business. (3-4 minute “commercial”)
  • Refreshments for event attendees
  • Space/Table for sign-in form and nametags
  • Door prizes or giveaways (optional)
  • Possible theme to entice members to attend

End a busy work day with refreshments and the potential for new leads!

Chamber After Hours are typically held the second Thursday of the month, from 4:30–6 p.m. at the office of the host/sponsor of the Chamber member business. Attendance at these networking events averages 40 members, so it’s a good idea to bring business cards. With refreshments and lots of friendly faces it’s the perfect way to end your day!

Chamber will provide the following:

  • Promotion of the event through online calendar of events, weekly events newsletter, event e-blast, Chamber app and the monthly newsletter
  • Sign-in form & name tags for attendees

Business will provide the following:

The first 30 minutes of Chamber 101 consists of an orientation where veteran members discuss benefits of membership, tips on getting the most bang for your buck and Chamber educational programs.

Beginning at 4 p.m. those attending are invited to network and peruse new member showcase tables to see what products and services they offer. At this time we also invite veteran members to join the group for networking and group introductions.

Chamber will provide the following:

  • Promotion of the event through online calendar of events, weekly events newsletter and the monthly newsletter
  • Sign-in form & name tags for attendees
  • 3-4 minutes at the beginning of each seminar to provide an overview of your business
  • Refreshments for the attendees

Join us for an upcoming Chamber luncheon. Each luncheon features informative speakers, networking and a delicious catered lunch. An hour and half each month will keep you connected with Chamber members and the community.

Chamber luncheons are typically held 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. the third Friday of the month, at various Chamber member locations. Attendance for luncheons averages 150 members.

Chamber will provide the following:

  • Promotion of the event through online calendar of events, weekly events newsletter, event e-blast, Chamber app and the monthly newsletter
  • Coordination of all event details including location, caterer, name badges, topics and speakers

Sponsor Business will receive the following:

  • 3-4 minutes on the agenda to showcase your business
  • Opportunity to place literature at every place setting
  • Two reservations to the luncheon

Recess for Success, the Chamber’s Professional Development Series is held from 4-5 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month. The Business Development Council schedules these seminars with professional experts in various fields. All seminar topics are determined from the annual Membership Educational Survey. Attendance at these seminars averages 40 members. Recess for Success is a great way to strengthen your business with timely and relevant information.

Chamber will provide the following:

  • Promotion of the event through online calendar of events, weekly events newsletter, event e-blast, Chamber app and the monthly newsletter
  • Sign-in form & name tags for attendees
  • 3-4 minutes at the beginning of each seminar to provide an overview of your business
  • Access and exposure through the KCSourcelink Network which reaches over 1,900 businesses and individuals
  • Refreshments for the attendees

The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce implemented the Chamber Young Professionals group in 2007. The group is comprised of Lee’s Summit Chamber members between the ages of 21-35. The program provides these young business professionals with opportunities for increased networking, civic engagement and lasting relationships. Through monthly events, the Young Professionals group hopes to empower young leaders to impact the future of Lee’s Summit by engaging them in the community and giving them an opportunity to make a difference.

Evening Networking Events

Morning Coffee Networking Events

Sponsors have the opportunity to host the event within their office space and take a few moments to speak to the group about the company. The sponsor will gain recognition through Chamber promotions of the event; including being listed as the event sponsor in the monthly newsletter, YP Facebook page and weekly events preview email.

Average Attendance: 20 people. Sponsor Fee: $100

Luncheon Networking/Professional Development Events

Sponsors have the opportunity to host the event within their office space and take a few moments to speak to the group about the company. Lunch events rotate between networking events and professional development events. The sponsor will gain recognition through Chamber promotions of the event; including being listed as the event sponsor in the monthly newsletter, YP Facebook page and weekly events preview email.

Average Attendance: 20 people. Sponsor Fee: $100
