2011 Oktoberfest Baby Contest

Do you have the most adorable baby? Enter your child into the Oktoberfest Baby Contest!

Date: Saturday, September 24

Time: Check-in 9 a.m.., contest starts at 10 a.m.

Place: Main Stage on Douglas Street in downtown Lee’s Summit

Entry fee: Pre-event registration is $5 per baby (deadline is 9/22). Day of entries will be $10 per baby. The contest is limited to the first 100 entries.

Contest categories include:
Girls: 0-12 months 12-24 months 24-36 months
Boys: 0-12 months 12-24 months 24-36 months
Twins: 0-36 months

Prizes: Will be awarded to the winners in each category courtesy of Child Abuse Prevention Association

Rules and Regulations:

• A registration fee will apply to each child being entered (twin category is one fee for both babies).
• Contestants will be judged on three factors: personality, first impression and unique/original outfit.
• If a tie should occur, there will be a fourth factor, separate round: best facial expression.
• All age categories will be based on the age of the child on September 24, 2011
• Only one adult will be admitted with each contestant; if a parent has more than one child, the parent
  should escort only one child at a time (exception for twins category).
• Contestant must be present to win.
• The committee assumes the parents or relatives will accept the decision of the judges without
  comment, criticism or protest.
• Contestants can only be registered in one category.
  

Registration: To enter, please complete the registration form and send/drop off payment to the Chamber office at 220 SE Main Street, Lee's Summit, MO 64063. Day of registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Main Stage.
